To do this evening/ was completed: Posting a little early since there's lots going on today. 
Hi everyone! Staff screenings are out and blocked on the calendar. I put Dune II in T2 on Friday so we can keep T1 clear for tech. With that in mind though, I'll make sure to get eyes on West Side Story Friday morn before the screening (keys open up then). 

We had our cinema meeting today, which went very well. We're all set on content. I've sent out our weekly email to help us get refreshed for the week ahead, along with some other future happenings. Please read it carefully and jot down anything that's necessary for you to keep on your personal radar. 

School screening went just fine today.

The keys for Dune II open up tomorrow. Please get your eyes on it and confirm that the cue sheets are correct! Thank you! I will not be here tomorrow morning for my usual admin shift as I covered Joe on Sunday at WB and need to avoid overtime. 

Alec, Matthew, Joe (and McKegg!) and I had a long meeting with a representative for our (potentially) new TMS software, Screenwriter. This was essentially a get-to-know the company/product session, along with a pretty in-depth tutorial, although we'll be working on this more before introducing it to you folks. We'll make sure that when we do transition to something else, it's done seamlessly and with confidence, but it is a lot like what we have now, just with loads more intuition/features. 

I reset the "root" password for the TMS. The autofill for that will work now. - A

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Made some adjustments to the cue sheets for the private events tonight. 

 Downloaded the new file for Private Benjamin, which is transcoding in T1 right now. Tomorrow this can get copied over to a drive and ingested. Thanks! 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: NSF24 opens up tonight and we've got the private event for Zone of Interest in T2. Chenelle will be here to setup the poster board for the latter. I met with Will to go over the info for tonight and he's all set. Playlists will be double checked. 

John and I set up the turntables for the DJ afterparty. Good to go! - A

I ended up making a new screen file for Wild Parrots, the 1.33 file was keystoning a little with the align 2K test DCP which I fixed but this feature appears to be slightly narrower than 1.33, so there was still some keystoning even after that. To avoid this affecting other 1.33 content before this screens (probably NSF), the old screen file remains on the 1.33 projector channel. I'll switch it to the one I made for Parrots before the weekend after this coming. -A

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): We received the print of Righting Wrongs today (SOF). I've put this in the T1 booth. It can get inspected. Once this has been inspected, we'll need to send the report to AGFA! We must do this before the screening! 

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Last Dragon needs to get re-inspected and shipped out. Admin can get on this tomorrow and the closing projectionist can start on Righting Wrongs.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
