NPP Projection Admin 3/11

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Heard it was a bit of a wild day yesterday. Hope everyone got some good sleep! I will be in tomorrow evening to start training our temp projectionist, Avery. - L

Presentation Issues:  Dune II in T4 and T1 (first round) were incorrect. T4 played an OCAP show while T1 started a regular show when they needed to be switched. The timing was right for both, but I quickly switched T1 to OCAP since we were still super early into preshow, but MOD told me to keep T4 on OCAP since we were already 15 minutes into the feature. I don't think the sheets were checked yesterday since I don't see initials, but on my part I didn't catch it this morning, and it's extra confusing since it was incorrect on the TMS and the info for the OCAP show wasn't on the sheets to begin with. We'll make sure to be more diligent. There was a lot going on yesterday/today. - L

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Alec and I setup and ran through tests today with Morricone Youth tonight for Fantastic Planet. This took up most of the late morn/early afternoon. Everything looks and sounds good. Alec took me through various parts of the setup with the sound board, external speakers, etc. I took photos. - L

Downloaded the files Nicky Siano sent for Love is the Message (screens tomorrow). He sent a long audio file for preshow (it's just music), so we'll play it off the PC. Adjusted the playlist with his trailer, the intro and q&a slide. Please check these tomorrow. The trailer is to play before the film and is labeled as DJNicky in the playlist. The Q&A slide is the obvious one at the end. Thank you! - L

Double checked and tested the Final Destination 5 show playlist after transferring its feature content to theater 2 -WB

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received posters for Ghostbusters. In T3/7. - L

Ordering/Receiving (content): Received Boxcar Bertha and Friday the 13th today. I put Boxcar Bertha in T1 and Will is inspecting Friday the 13th in 4/6. - L

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection:

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes. Updated today with new prints we received. Added special event titles for the month of April (apart from a few holding spots). - L

Maintenance/cleaning: Added photos for Legend and Taking Off. - L

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Checked and initialed. Added last bit of info for Love is the Message. - L

Marquee updated?: Took down Oscar Party info on 35mm side and adjusted Boyz N The Hood, added Friday the 13th and Legend. - L

Removed brunch titles from this past weekend and added letters for It's Complicated and Make Me Famous to the side -WB

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
