NPP Projection Close 3/22

To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues: Final round in theater 1 -- Immaculate @ 10PM -- started without any image on screen because the dowser was closed (there was no dowser close cue active at the end of the previous SPL and, despite the dowser open cue being active at the top of this one, it did not trigger correctly); I opened the dowser manually from booth 1 and the picture came back up

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Added my initials to the Resident Evil 6 show playlist on the trailer list (I built this the other day but forgot to note it on the doc)

Added a house lights up cue to the Something's Gotta Give SPL

Began building the show playlist for Jawbreaker but did not initial it as completed on the trailer list since it needs to be double checked (I was unsure how to build out the break for the live performance prior to the feature so if someone could get eyes on this and make any necessary adjustments it would be greatly appreciated)

Increased the feature volume level for all Love Lies Bleeding SPLs to 6.0 (there were complaints this evening that the volume was too low at 5.0 -- the crowd in theater 5 was nearly or completely sold out both shows -- and the films seem mixed quietly to begin with so this louder volume should be fine)

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
