To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues: Couple delayed feature starts today-- the first round in T6 was scheduled as Ghostbusters instead of Godzilla. Wyatt radio'd me once the movie started that it was the wrong one and I switched it. Oddly Godzilla was correctly scheduled for tomorrow when I checked.

Theater 3 had that issue again today, it was well into the preshow for the second round when I noticed it. Was prepared to pause the preshow and restart the projector but I went down to the theater/booth just to see what was happening (if cleaning lights stayed on and volume cues didn't go through as Jack had mentioned), but preshow was playing normally at the correct volume with the house lights at the proper level. Since things seemed to be playing normally, I waited in the booth for trailers to start to make sure the lights went off, which they did, but volume didn't change for the trailers. At this point I thought I could just set the volumes manually and restart before the next round, but it turns out encrypted content will not play with the projector/server in this state, so the feature was skipped over and cleaning lights came up. I then restarted the projector and got the movie on about 7-8 minutes late. That settled things for this round but abut 15 minutes into the movie, I noticed the error messages for Theater 3 on the TMS again. Since the feature had already started playing with the server recognizing the active KDM, it continued normally.

Lillian powered down the T3 projector between rounds to restart, and in the meantime we'd heard from Jerry who asked us to check the plugs, which was when I noticed the switch above the plugs on the projector is set to "A only" instead of "A+B" despite having power cords connected to both the A and B plugs on the projector. My strong feeling is that this is what's been causing the issue based on Jerry's assumption that the issue could be power related. Lillian will set the switch to the correct position after powering down the projector at the end of the night.

Special Events/ AV set up: Interstellar went well, the print is ready to roll again tomorrow. Will, Matthew will be bringing the print over to Williamsburg tomorrow for their show on Tuesday.

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
