NPP Projection Open 4/9



To do this evening/ was completed: Hello! This is Lillian. Popped in for a few hours today. 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: I built out the playlist for Dawn of the Dead and made sure to include the Nitehawk Festival trailer that Kat noted. It still needs to have the end credit/volume cues. 

Brought up the volume for Monkey Man in the 4/05 playlists. I had a listen to this today. It helps with an increase. All in T1 today. - L

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Talked to Chenelle about a shoot happening next Monday. They're going to be using the marquee, but asked if it would be possible to manually switch the lights on during the day. I asked Lillian who said she would ask Matthew. 

They also want to have videos playing in Trees on both the TVs and the projector screen, which is no problem. They'll send us the files and then we can make a playlist in Plex. 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received a poster for Tarot. 

Ordering/Receiving (content): DCP of Dawn of the Dead came in with keys through the Deluxe portal, which will be sent to WB now. Bit of confusion there, but we've got plenty of time and the distro is on it to make sure that WB also receives this content via the server or physical drive. 

Received the print  A Series of Unfortunate Events 

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Handed off the drive of The Others to FedEx this afternoon - all set to head back to the Academy (L)

Print/video Inspection: Tech'd Cohen and Tate with Cristina and it looks/sounds marvelous. Volume has been noted on the white card. Film is rewound. 

Cristina and I also took a look at the two Ambulance slides and I'll be redoing these for another Friday tech when we take a look at the actual print.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Filled out the cue sheets and automation for next week. The event end timing still needs to be included, but otherwise it's set.

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
