Projection Admin 4/19 Lillian



To do this evening/ was completed: School screening in T1 went just fine this morning, as did the staff screenings. 

No cancelling shows today!
Chris came in this morning to work on T2 and T3. The IMS was replaced entirely, but the OS in the old IMS was also replaced, so we can use it as backup. We figured the more secure thing to do would be to just install a new IMS (thought it probably would've been just fine with the old IMS, newly restored). T2 was back up and running and I received the KDMs with enough time to upload them and ingest any content we didn't have prior to this happening. 

T3 had its power sources changed, despite the fact that the PIB gave us a tough time when first powering the projector back on. We'll want a new one. I believe we used the spare the last time we had issues with it in T3. Everything is working properly now though, and despite needing to hold off on seating for a little while in 3, which proves to be a fickle working environment, we were able to get the first show up and running whilst still in the preshow timeframe of things, well before the feature was to start. Before second round, since we still needed to reattach a few pieces of the projector (nothing integral to making it run), preshow was postponed but the trailers and feature started on time. Again, thank you to MOD for being patient with us. 

Alec, there's some stuff we can keep/some stuff we can send back to Christie. Chris will be sending a formal write up. 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: We received the new (4/26) trailer list and content from Kat today. I started downloaded content to the preshows/trailers drive. 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: I tested the slideshow for the Q&A for From Beyond with Cristina using our laptop today. No wash for this, just the double spots we normally use. Slideshow looks great. 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Received and ingested Challengers. 

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Made labels for The Ambulance and scheduled a pickup. Won't get picked up until monday. 

Print/video Inspection: Antonia's Line can get inspected. 

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Ran reels of both The River Wild and From Beyond (the former of which we need to adjust focus for scope on P2. I've been feeling slightly nuts about scope on that projector for a little while, but even with my new glasses, I think it could absolutely be less soft). From Beyond looks extremely fun. Volume for both prints has been noted down on their respective white cards. 

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes. Checked. I scheduled the rest of the TMS up until Thursday, since that day still needs to be filled out on the cue sheets.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
