Projection Admin 4/22



To do this evening/ was completed: Lots of downloading and ingesting. 

Tech'd Despicable Me to make sure everything is looking/sounding good. 

Took a look at both 10 Things I Hate About You and The Paperboy in T3 and T4, respectively. Adjusted for volume and ratio. 

Built the playlist for 10 Things I Hate About You. 

The keys for Follow That Bird open up tomorrow morning! Can tech then.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Checked the playlist for and made some adjustments to From Beyond since the intro slide was in there for the Q&A when it's actually just going to be a slideshow, which we have and will use out laptop for. Cristina will advance it onstage just like Spoons. 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Reached out to Chenelle about the slide for 10 Things since I noticed we didn't have one. Received! Ingested and added to the playlist. Update: they want the intro slide to be used for preshow (paused on) along with a Spotify playlist that has been linked in the Event Memo! I've adjusted the playlist. 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received a poster for the new Bad Boys film. Stored and labeled in 3/7. 

Ordering/Receiving (content): Downloaded and ingested the second feature for Doc n Roll, Born Innocent. Also ingested the first Doc n Roll feature, Free Party. 

Received and ingested Matilda. 

Desmond sent over his slides for May - I DCP'd and ingested all of them: Carrie Slides (intro and breakdown w/music added!), Flintstones, Both Kill Bill Slides, First Wives Club. 

Received the print of Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights
Brought this down to T1 - show was originally in T4 but is now being moved to T1! Updated the white board so there's no confusion in case someone misses that email. 

Outgoing/Shipping (content): A Series of Unfortunate Events got picked up this morning. 

Print/video Inspection: Started a print report for Dirty Dancing: HH, so please use that one if you're inspecting tonight! 

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Updated and added titles. 

Maintenance/cleaning: Ran loops and checked in with the projectors for this evening's show of The River Wild! 

Took the trash out in 4/6!

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Worked with MOD and Chenelle to adjust the times for T3 tomorrow as there was some major overlap with the private, so we've moved Sasquatch Sunset back. TMS adjusted for manual start tomorrow. 10 Things I Hate About You is ready to go.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
