NPP Projection Close 9/25



To do this evening/ was completed: Added volume cues to both Gotham Shorts playlists. Three of the shorts (Plaisir, Cramming and Thirstygirl) have yet to be tech'd, and I see Desmond mentioning that we can look at those either tomorrow or Friday, so that'll get taken care of then. Also see that Shutterbird is listed as 1.85 but I wrote down that the film is 2.00:1 in my notes during tech. I can't remember if that is true so we should put that one back on screen just to make sure.

Inspected The Ring. It is in excellent condition. Back on shipping reels for now. Stills uploaded to Drive, Conrad notified.

Put Mad Dog and Glory on house reels.

Extremely Unique and Hidden Flora ingested to T1, Carnage and Gondola to T3. Tops already on T3 server. Extremely Unique took only 15 minutes to ingest while Flora took over an hour. Not sure what the file sizes are but was surprised by the quick ingest so noting it here. **I'm Not Everything ingested to T4.* When attaching the drive to T3 USB port the ingest scan for local storage kept coming up blank. I have Carnage ingesting to TMS at the end of the night so ingesting Everything to T4 and then that can be transferred over in the morning. Update: T4 ingest finished successfully so transferring I'm Not Everything to T3 right now at the end of the night. On the ingest logs for some reason it said the ingest to T4 took one minute which is not true, so noting that small oddity here.

Put the Some Kind of Monster Q&A files on a flash drive which is currently connected to the T1 rack PC. Not sure if you want to look into this further Lillian, so holding off on Google Drive upload.

*Wild Robot credit times off on 9/26 cue sheets. Noticed the same issue with a different feature for last week's sheets. This is due to entering the wrong numbers (full runtime instead of feature runtime sans credits) into the start credits formula. Noting it here just to be preventative for next go-around. Was not able to look at upcoming week's cue sheets.* 9/26 updated.

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
