To do this evening/ was completed: Hey everyone! Weekly update is out. Please get your eyes on it when you can, and have a look at the calendar for October. NewFest is coming up! There will be lots to do alongside our regular happenings, so it's important we stay focused. Nothing we can't handle, though. 

****Notes below about the AC Unit in T2! 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Nowhere. Tech'd the feature today in T2. Cue sheets are correct. 
Built the playlist for My Old Ass. 

Speak No Evil all set. 

Trailer Updates: Made an updated R trailer list for 9/19 under My Old Ass/Substance

Special Events/ AV set up: Went through the Godfathers of Hardcore playlist with John. Everything is set. Please remember to record the Q&A! 

*Checked in with Chenelle again about the accessibility features for the private event on 10/29. I checked in with Gil, too, to see what our Amazon account offers us as far as Prime Video goes, which is nil. I'll rent the film to test it the download w/AD & captions features tomorrow morning. Event will be in T7. We've got quite a bit of time. 

I set the shared 1.66/1.37 masking preset in Theater 3 to 1.37 for the short film playing before Spirit Riser next week. -A

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Checked in with John about the Wild Things print as we recently received a DCP of the feature and we just wanted to make sure that the print had been booked. It's booked! DCP is just a backup. Print is coming from Sony, so it should arrive a few days before the screening. 

Preshow content for The Substance are still uploading to the drive. Currently in xDoNotIngestx. 
Downloaded and ingested 15min and 5min preshow for A Different Man (we won't need it until the week after, but it's available). 

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Printed labels and scheduled a pickup for Madam Satan, on the cart ready to go out tomorrow. -A

Maintenance/cleaning: The AC Unit in T2 is on the fritz. Apparently, it started to leak yesterday morning, which trickled down past the projector and out into the auditorium (yikes) before the workers stabilized it. I believe the same happened again this morning. Alec turned off the unit this afternoon (just to be safe) hopefully Palco and his team can get in here soon. Regardless, keep an eye on this throughout the evening, please. Matthew and Juan are well aware. Everything has been cleaned up. 

A note about the Trees projector: I looked into getting new bulbs for it and it turns out the model we have uses a laser diode which is not possible to replace. It should, however, have a very long life span: 20k hours before the brightness is reduced to 50%, according to the manual, so it should last us quite a bit longer. -A

Marquee updated?: The director asked if we could put Spirit Riser up on the marquee so I put it up on one half of the brunch side. -A

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
