NPP Projection Admin 10/8



To do this evening/ was completed: Tech'd Annarchy Artist OCAP  (NewFest) and Demon Knight with Desmond, volumes logged.

Built A1 playlists for Piece by Piece and scheduled the week in TMS. Cue sheets can get made this evening.

Talented Mr. Ripley ingested to T3.

Built all of the NewFest playlists listed in the 10/11 trailer list with the exception of Ripley. I imagine there will need to be some tweaks and I'll go over the playlists again in the next two days. I talked to Desmond about OCAP vs CCAP for shorts programs and he said that if there are two versions of a short, go with the OCAP. Maybe this has been mentioned already but reiterating here. For the T4Transgressive program, I'm including the more recently created version of Saturn Rising (10012024). I'm assuming it's a V2 situation. I didn't see mention of that short by name in the blogs.

Special Events/ AV set up: Uploaded keys for Uncropped, these are live so we can look at it tomorrow. I ran into John and he confirmed we'll need 4 mic for this Q&A on Thursday night.

I made looped versions of both the videos for the NewFest mixers in Trees. These are on the VHS Vault drive to be played through Plex.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Downloaded the Dead Mail DCP, this is the opening night feature for Brooklyn Horror (which is at NPP and not Williamsburg). Ingested it to Theater 2.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Checked My Bloody Valentine, it's all good for tonight.

Ingested The Bloody Lady and checked it in Theater 4. No issues with this one. I wrote down the volume and credit offset on a card which is up on the 4/6 whiteboard for when we make the playlist.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Received tracking for The Bad Seed and added it to the doc. Should be here on Friday.

Maintenance/cleaning: Swept and mopped in Booth 2 after the work concluded for the day. Please be sure someone is doing this everyday while the work continues!

Additional Notes: Making some headway with getting hardware to start our live trial of Screenwriter TMS here. DMS is working on getting the hardware custom ordered through Dell. I'll keep everyone in the loop as things progress.

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
