To do this evening/ was completed: I went around checking the NewFest playlists and feature content again this morning, filling in the cue sheets with credits/Q&A information for the next week. 

Kat sent the new content for 10/18 a little early. I downloaded and ingested the forecasts and the trailer for the 90s docs. 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for The Talented Mr. Ripley, we'll just have to QC once the keys are in and have opened up. 

QC'd and adjusted the playlist for The Bloody Lady & Shorts. 

Trailer Updates: Updated the trailer packs today. Book_Fall was definitely the stand out- too loud, so I brought it down. 

Special Events/ AV set up: Tested mics for Uncropped tonight in T3. 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received, labeled and stored posters for Y2K and Mickey 17. 

Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingested the DCPs of We Live in Time

We received the updated DCP of When The Lights Come Up (with revised subtitles) which I ingested, but when I went to go confirm things for Kim, I noticed a pixel issue in the top right corner. This is usually not a DCP/Projector issue, but instead these things happen during rendering/exporting. Sent Kim photos and videos and she checked the source file, confirmed the issue with me there and has notified the filmmakers so we can get another DCP. 

I reached out to Deluxe to make sure we could get an eta on the KDM for The Talented Mr. Ripley, and the keys should be coming in quite late tonight! 

Noticed this morning that I couldn't find the episodes of Somebody Somewhere in the TMS, clicked on the ingested files in the logs section and saw that they only ingested the KDMs. For whatever reason, the KDMs were included in the DCP containers/folders for each episode, so when we ingested it only recognized the KDMs. Anyway, it's all good - the DCPs (episodes) have been reingested and the KDMs are active! I sent content to T2. 

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Demon Knight got picked up. 

Print/video Inspection: We received the print of The Bad Seed from our friends at the Music Box. Rebecca told me that the sound is a little crunchy - some platter scratching on the track, but it's still enjoyable! a

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: 

Maintenance/cleaning: I noticed that we have a screening of Joker 2 in T6 over the weekend, starting Saturday. I'll updated the lens preset and masking cues tomorrow morning! 

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes! See above. 

Marquee updated?: Took down Demon Knight and added The Ring.

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
