Projection Admin 10/30

To do this evening/ was completed: Staff Screenings for Emilia Perez are out and blocked on the calendar. I sent out our Weekly Update today - I am implementing a small change, which I've detailed in the intro, so please make sure you get your eyes on it. Thank you! L

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Went to go make a babies playlist for the Anora screening this week, and saw that  new Anora playlists were missing the How to Order clip. Added it in and checked all other playlists. L

Built the playlist for Nosferatu, Ghostbusters and Seven Samurai - L

Trailer Updates: Trailer packs are up to date. L

Special Events/ AV set up: Downloaded the new music and DCP'd it for Ma'am She for tonight's performance. Went through the entire playlist, checked the feature and new slides and made sure all levels are correct. I added the number combos for each wash/spots preset to the event memo so that it's easy to follow. Please go by the Event Memo for ROS. I also setup the external PA speakers with the mixer and wireless mic receiver so that it's easy for the performers to go back and forth between intros and dance numbers, that way we don't have to manually change anything on the processor and can just focus on the pauses in the playlist and light cues. - L

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): We received two posters for the private screening of Nightbitch. They are standing up against the wall in 3/7. L

Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingested Ghostbusters. L

Received the DCP of Gods of Times Square via Filemail (which is still currently downloading to the preshows/trailers drive, so please don't unplug it until it's finished! Thanks!) - L

I ripped the Ferris Bueller blu-ray and started converting to DCP on the booth 1 iMac. Will save this one for future use. -A.W.L.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Inspected American Movie, it's in good shape overall, should look really good. However this one has an SRD soundtrack which looked quite damaged to me, thinking it might be best to play the analog SR track but we can make that decision when we tech it. Also I'm pretty sure it's 1.66 which is somewhat odd for a movie from its period. It's ready to roll on house reels for this weekend. -A.W.L.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Vacuumed a bit in booth 2. -A.W.L.

I checked the ADA seats in the front row of Theater 7 this morning. I tightened all the screws I could and put ones in where possible though some had broke off and a piece is stuck in the hole in the floor. I put this on the maintenance doc for Juan to take a look at, but for now both pairs of seats are solid/not wobbly and safe for patrons to sit in. -A.W.L.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Adjusted the timing for Seven Samurai and Anora babies screening (start time was about five min off). Also, just a note - I've been noticing that a lot of special events on the cue sheets first get built with having ten minutes of trailers, but they normally only have 5min unless stated otherwise on an event memo. Something to keep in mind! Thanks! -L
