To do this evening/ was completed: The keys for Drop Dead Fred open up tomorrow, so we can get our eyes on it first thing in the morning. L

NOTE: All the Opening Nite shorts are currently finishing ingesting to the LMS via the share drive. The first few shorts from Matinee Two are also ingesting, but please continue doing this throughout the evening. Once on the LMS, they will all need to be transferred to Theatre 1! Thank you! So far, the rest of these still need to be transferred to the shared drive (image below) - Lillian
 

Added Mickey 17 information to the cue sheets, which we can double check once the film is open. L

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Deleted old playlists and outbound content off LMS/individual servers. - L

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Ran loops and refocused the lenses in theater 1 for Demons 2 tonight

Transferred the MFA event on thursday to T7 to get eyes on it. It changes aspect ratios throughout the film, just between 1.85 and 1.78, from what I could tell, so we'll keep it at 1.85. - L

Attack the Block is in T1, transferred this. - L

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Reached out to John for tracking for Gladiator and Cinema Paradiso. Cinema Paradiso just came in and is ingesting to the LMS. - L

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Removed About a Boy feature content from the LMS and theater 3

Scheduled a pick up for A Clockwork Orange and printed return labels (tracking ID: 772438027157)

Virtuosity has been packed up and is scheduled for pickup today. This is going back to its owner in CA. I sent him the tracking information. - Lillian

Maintenance/cleaning: Cleaned up the cables and other various equipment under the curtain in T1. Put the table away, vacuumed under everything for a while. Pretty clean now! - Lillian

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state.
