Projection Admin 3/5

To do this evening/ was completed: Staff screenings have been emailed out, blocked on the calendar and scheduled on the LMS. We're looking good on content for this week and the next, but for this upcoming week, I've got a few more notes below (some of which are also mentioned in more detail in the weekly update from today). NOTE: We will need to really keep up with content, transfers, and local ingests as we have A LOT of movies on right now, including special/private events. T1 is maxing out, and we have special events in T1 for three days straight, this Monday - Weds, so we can delete each film off the server once they're done. Theatres 5, 4, 3 and 1 have the least space right now. Can't wait until we're done with The Brutalist...goodness gracious. Deleted a few other SE features and Dog Man (kept this in T5 for the weekend). Wicked should be ingesting to T4 just fine now (it was blocked before due to storage).

Weekly Update has been sent out. Please confirm that you've sorted through the details once you've read it.

The keys for Mickey 17 open tomorrow morning, so we'll tech it before the staff screening.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: You Can Count on Me is all set for this evening in T4.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Brought the T1 Aja back down to the theatre from 4/6 and setup the connection for Spoons tomorrow. Laptop as been tested but we'll test everything again tomorrow, along with wireless mics.

I noted this in the Weekly Update, but just so that it's here, the BluRay for Monty Python (3/13 private) will get dropped off sometime this weekend. Chenelle will update us soon.

Private event 3/6: I had already flipped through the DCP for the MFA program tomorrow, but went to go get my eyes on it again as the host called to make sure everything looks good. Since there's it's a bunch of shorts in one continuous file, I decided to double check credits for each short, along with any title cards since the host/Chenelle asked. So, I sent two photos to Chenelle, both of which are the first two images of the DCP (one of them they'll use as an intro slide for us to pause on) and I noticed a few things after this - the first two shorts do not have their own title card as the rest of the shorts. Also, the second short has an end credits slide with its text ever so slightly cut off (I also sent a photo of this to Chenelle). It's not an aspect ratio issue, or anything else on our end, it's an editing error on theirs, so we reached out to them and they decided they want to fix it. They'll be sending us a file - either a DCP or a video file (I'm fine with us DCPing this as it might just be easier, which is why I suggested that if they want to, and I believe we'll be receiving this tonight, as soon as possible. I'll forward what I receive.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content):  We received a CRU drive today for Superhuman Body, of which we'll have two screenings (3/12) and (3/18), both in T1. This has been ingested.
I have made note of this in the Weekly Update, but we will keep the DCP on the LMS, into the first week of April as there will be a third screening of this on 4/3!

Received the DCP of Opus

Received the DCP of Terminator 2 by satellite. Ingested to the LMS.
