To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues: Noticed the house lights were up at pre-show levels as the feature was starting during the second round in theater 6. I caught sight of this about two minutes into the film as I was bringing a guest a closed captioning device. Brought the lights down manually. Later realized the show was ending ten minutes ahead of schedule which led me find the trailer pack had been skipped over. Earlier round this afternoon did not have this issue but it is something I will continue to keep an eye on (update: there was no further issue with trailer pack playback during the final round in this auditorium)

Special Events/ AV set up: Set up 1.66 lenses and plates for the American Movie screening tomorrow afternoon + left the 1.37 lenses beside the projectors on microfiber cloths so they can be swapped out for Seven Samurai later in the evening

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received a poster for The Monkey and stored it behind 3/7

Ordering/Receiving (content): Downloaded keys for a few current first run titles and some upcoming special event screenings

Attack the Block has about 14 hours remaining before it finishes converting to DCP

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen

NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
