Projection Admin 11/04

Special Events/ AV set up: Since we apparently only received an evening KDM for Nightbitch tonight, I asked if they could send an earlier one for tech check today just to make sure everything looks good. I brought the chairs for the Q&A into T2. 3 chairs, 3 wireless mics needed. Chenelle and I looked at the slide and feature once we received the tech KDM. Everything looks and sounds good and for the intro and Q&A, I programmed over the spots setting I had down for the HBO event during NewFest, just to tailer it to this new slide and its features. Just made little tweaks. We took photos of everything to send to their people and the settings i've added to the event memo, but for what it's worth - INTRO spots are 603 and Q&A spots are 703. . xlr for the wireless mics now back in the processor and tested. I pulled up the Spotify account in T2 so its ready. Feel free to continue using the playlist we used for NewFest, or you can choose something else. Just make sure you're on Non Sync for preshow then manually switch to mic on the processor for the intro and after, press play and everything will be cued and ready to go. (it's just the slide and music for preshow and yes, the slide is supposed to be 20 seconds long. again, there is a pause cue. that wasn't a mistake. there's rarely a need to make a slide more than even a minute long). I'm not sure if they want house lights down during the intro, but my assumption is yes, so I'd bring those down manually as well. 

One note about T2 - I came in this morning to find that the powerstrip (that our charging station for the mics, spots board, camera, etc, are plugged into) wasn't on. Turns out, that outlet isn't working - both sockets. Additionally, the next closest outlet isn't working as well, so I plugged an extension cord into the next outlet (working) located behind the platter decks, to put the powerstrip into. I called Vlad and sent him a video. He's all set to come in tomorrow to take a look. Since the construction workers have been plugging in their tools in there every day, I reckon someone might've just tripped a breaker? We'll find out. 

For The Gods of Times Square tonight, in T3, I DCP'd a new slide for the intro. It looks good! FYI - friendly reminder that I added a masking cue for 1.66 about 13 seconds into the film so that it looks cleaner. 1.78 is perfectly fine for the lens. The film's ratio changes a bit throughout, but it's mostly at 1.66. Also, Cristina noted that we don't need a mic for the intro, but I added a mic in there anyway just on the off chance they want to use one (plus cues in the playlist). I brought the mic labeled T3 from T1 back to its proper house. Posters for the raffle are in 3/7.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes. Gods was still off, btw. The end time is 9:05. The only thing wrong with the sheets for this one is that the intro was incorrect. Remember to look at the memo, too. The intro ends at 7:10 and the film starts at 7:10, not 7:15. 

Marquee updated?: Will added to the 35mm side.
