To do this evening/ was completed: Just FYI Alec and I will be looking into new captiview devices since a patron broke one, severing the screw for the clasp/neck attachment, so we only have one left with a spine/clamp. The other side of this is that they don't make the ones we use anymore. What I did today as a temporary work around for when we need more captioning devices out simultaneously, is that I attached the working captions head to the cup holder pieces that came with them (we obviously haven't been using those since we don't have cup holders. There's two of these ready to go (in addition to the last clamped one) and you'll just pop em on the table. Will is gonna hook up the rest of it but I got everything else setup down there, so it's just the mixer.  Both playlists were adjusted and tested, cue sheets updated too and made sure that MOD was aware and printed out the correct version. We pushed back the intro time in T2 so Will has more wiggle room to get there. The spots/wash info are written on white cards and taped above the port glass in both projection booths. To do this evening/ was completed: A longer day for ol' Kegg dominated mostly by one event, but managed to pick at a few other things as well.  Presentation Issues: Looking at the slides/preshow for Litany , I couldn't quite figure out the correct lens file it should be shown in. Flat and 1.78 were not quite right because the sides were cut off. 2.00 was the closest I could figure, though it still cut off the top and the bottom a little bit.  As the feature started, Desmond asked me if it was OCAP, which I didn't notice when I teched it that afternoon. Looking at Jack's blog, it looks like it had captions somewhere, but that someone else was supposed to look into potentially burning the subs into the image, but I couldn't find a blog saying anyone had. These were minor things that ultimately went fine, but wanted to note. For some reason, the automation cues for the intro slide didn't fire when I was teching it, even though the ones for the Q+A slide did. I just...
