NPP Projection Report 10/8 Open


To do this evening/ was completed: Keys for Cabin in the Woods and Nocebo are ingested and will be active tomorrow morning. These can be teched on Monday. We need a credit offset for Cabin, so be sure cue sheet is updated when you check it.

Special Events/ AV set up: Spoons and DJ in Trees Lounge both went very smoothly. All equipment has been returned to its proper place. For future reference: Michael said to set his laptop sound to the center channel always. I’m certain they’ve asked us to switch to the surrounds in the past, but we can just switch it to center from now on, and make sure everyone knows how to switch it if they ask. Also please make sure wireless mics are reconnected when you break down, and that the mic input channel is set back to Surrounds.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Redownloaded the Before I Change My Mind DCP, the prior download wasn’t appearing on either an IMS or TMS scan. Started ingesting it to Th3.

Started downloading the video component for the Unidentified Objects DCP to the iMac desktop. The remainder of the DCP is on the DCPII hard drive, so copy the video into the folder when it finishes and ingest to Th2.

Copied the video component of the Monsieur Le Butch DCP to the DCPII hard drive, should be ready to ingest when BICMM finishes.

Maintenance/cleaning: Placed orders for more cotton swabs (both 6” single sided and 3” double sided), gear grease (10 tubes), and 3 more wired mics (we will probably need them for NewFest, plus I feel like we’re always being asked if we can use more mics for other things, too).

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): There were some mistakes on the cue sheets. The end time for the first round Amsterdam was almost 30 minutes off, which I didn’t notice and Gil radioed me about when the movie kept going past the time on the sheet. I checked for the rest of the day and there was another mistake on the last round in Th7. The end times were the same as the previous round. I fixed this and let Gil know. These same mistakes were on the sheet for Sunday so I fixed those, and checked Monday. If someone could check the rest of the week at some point this weekend that would be much appreciated.

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. To do this evening/ was completed: I will be out tomorrow as I'm still recovering from a bad cold and need another day to rest. I will have notes via email tomorrow. I will also be joining the cinema meeting and will be remoting in from home. I reached out to Rebecca again and cc'd Lauren and Ian who will be here during the early hours tomorrow so that they know I'm out in case they walkie and can contact me via phone/email. If Jack is able to come in a little earlier, I'll let management know. I let management know about the iPad (per Jack's blog) which I'm running the updates on right now and had hoped would be done soon but they're still going so I let them know to use the Spotify app in the meantime if Soundtrack doesn't work, but it should.  The print of It's Alive  went down well (if you don't count the lad that threw up in the theatre and then right outside the door). NPP Projection Report 11/23 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Checked the Home Alone DCP ahead of the private event this morning, no issues. The party was a bit late seating, so the movie start was a little bit delayed. Overall it ran smoothly. Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Kat will be making a DCP of Guardians of the Galaxy tomorrow for the private event in T1 on Tuesday morning. Chenelle will get the blu-ray sent over here for us to have as backup. I set up the blu-ray player so it's connected to both the monitor and the projector, in case we end up needing to use the blu-ray. I sent Lillian and McKegg an email about this separately. I checked the scope blu-ray projector channel in Theater 1 and it's good to go should we need to screen the blu-ray. I started the DCP of Death Race 2000 on the T1 Mac.
