Projection Close 8/26 Lillian

To do this evening/ was completed: I will be out tomorrow as I'm still recovering from a bad cold and need another day to rest. I will have notes via email tomorrow. I will also be joining the cinema meeting and will be remoting in from home. I reached out to Rebecca again and cc'd Lauren and Ian who will be here during the early hours tomorrow so that they know I'm out in case they walkie and can contact me via phone/email. If Jack is able to come in a little earlier, I'll let management know. I let management know about the iPad (per Jack's blog) which I'm running the updates on right now and had hoped would be done soon but they're still going so I let them know to use the Spotify app in the meantime if Soundtrack doesn't work, but it should.

The print of It's Alive went down well (if you don't count the lad that threw up in the theatre and then right outside the door). The print will need to be re-inspected and shipped with two day shipping. There is a note on the cans to not ship on a Thursday or Friday, and since tomorrow is too soon as it still needs to be inspected, I'll get this shipped out on Monday.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist:

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: I added another mic and some stands per their request and the last minute song ask was perfectly fine. I hooked up the laptop in the booth to play it. It was definitely a few moving parts but it worked out great. Slideshow went well tonight and I cleaned everything up after the show. No loose cables. FYI - the xlr for the right side speaker is still hanging on the hook right above the supplies bin. It's got a bit of red on it. I know it might look a little confusing if you haven't used it for a while, but that's where it is.

Got back to Devin with the three films on 9/6 (private event) all of which we have ingested. I'll get eyes on them Thursday morning.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Desmond sent the master doc for the animated shorts program on 9/11. I have downloaded nearly all of these and have ingested three that have already been converted to DCP. The rest we will have to do.  One short (Night) does not seem to have enough files in the container (DCP) so I'm going to assume it's still processing, but I'll keep that in mind.
These files are in a folder on the desktop in 4/6 called AnimationShorts_September2025

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: We need to inspect the Babysitters Club.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Been wiping down everything. Handed out two assisted listening devices and put the back. Coiled up the headphones all nice and reorganized them. Let's make sure we treat these headphones well! They get quite messy.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): I built the cue sheets for this upcoming week sans some special events. We will, of course, have to double check everything.
