Projection Admin 9/17***



To do this evening/ was completed: Childhood Delusions tonight! Went over the game plan with Will and Cristina. Info below. 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Resident Evil has been teched. 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Noticed when setting up for the DJ tonight (doesn't happen until much later though) that the mixer was gone, so I reached out to John and they brought it over. Will is gonna hook up the rest of it but I got everything else setup down there, so it's just the mixer. 

Both playlists were adjusted and tested, cue sheets updated too and made sure that MOD was aware and printed out the correct version. We pushed back the intro time in T2 so Will has more wiggle room to get there. The spots/wash info are written on white cards and taped above the port glass in both projection booths. The laptop is hooked up to T2 for the Spotify playlist (which I tested in both theatres). The cord in T1 for Spotify is hooked up to the iMac, all ready to go (which it is, now, as I write this since it's a little later in the evening). Both shows should honestly be a breeze. 

I added Childhood Delusions Film Festival to the brunch side of the marquee and organized the letters for Betty Boop/ Brunch Shows title in the 3/7 booth so we can put those letters back up in a jiffy once the day is over. I also added the poster with a Now Showing banner to the left side entrance as per their request. The Forgotten Island poster is back in its named place in the cubby.

Ordering/Receiving (content): John brought the new files for Bullet, which I started DCPing in 4/6. 

Downloaded/DCPd/ Ingested more Gotham shorts today and updated the spreadsheets as I went. 

We got the last song (Julius) for the Zoolander show, which can get DCP'd once Bullet is finished!

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: We received the print of Ghosts of Mars (which I brought down to T1), but I did not get a call that Sony was here, they came and went, so we'll have them pick up the rest after the Ghost of Mars shows.

The party was a bit late seating, so the movie start was a little bit delayed. Overall it ran smoothly. Projection Admin 9/2

To do this evening/ was completed: Our Network has been updated. Nick from DMS came in to drop off the relay mechanism and take a look at 3/7 before his install visit next week. I showed him in and around the space and he checked in with the WiFi guys. He also liased with Chris whilst scoping out the existing relay system in in 3/7.  It is still somewhat of a wreck in the 46 booth (cables and boxes that, to my knowledge, need to be thrown out, but I asked if they were going to clean up/what needs to be cleared out and I didn't get a proper response in both English and when I asked in Spanish lol so apparently someone might be coming round to finish that up tomorrow. If we don't, we can call Juan and double check. I did tidy things up though, so at least it's not absolute chaos in here.  Once the Network was up and properly running, I tested out theatres 4 and 6 to see if anything needed to be rebooted and lo n behold, only the dimmer panels needed to be rebooted in all the...

Projection Admin 3/30

To do this evening/ was completed: School Screening in T3 went very well this morning, started it up early, but just a friendly reminder - if you tech something the night before its show date (let alone first thing in morning), at the very least please log volume and/or build a playlist. I was in early so it wasn't much of an issue, but it helps to have this sorted beforehand. Also, special screener of The Drama for Jared and Lauren went just fine, too. Feature seems kind of low, volume wise, but once it opens up in other screening rooms this week, I'll take another look and adjust as needed. - LH Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Revelations of Divine Love . Tech'd Stranger by the Lake and noticed it wasn't scheduled on the LMS yet, so I scheduled it and transferred preshow content and the feature to T2.
