NPP Projection Report 2/7 Admin/Open, Alec

To do this evening/ was completed:

-Tech Moonlight and finalize the playlist.

Presentation Issues: None so far.

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Forgot to mention yesterday, but I teched the 1917 w/ Babies playlist.

Ordering/Receiving (content): We got a last minute booking for Ace in the Hole on Feb 10. The DCP will be shipped overnight.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): The print of Little Women has been picked up

Print/video Inspection:

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Added tracking for Sabrina and Back to the Future.

Maintenance/cleaning: Checked screen alignment and speakers in every house. All are looking and sounding good, except for the right rear surrounds in 4 and 6 which sound muffled/tinny with the Dolby 7.1 test. I remember this being the case a while back, it doesn't have a hugely noticeable effect on content but could it be a busted piece? Just from the Dolby test I didn’t hear any crackling in T3.

-When I got in the Christie in 6 was displaying a critical "unexpected lamp off" warning and when I was doing the alignment check the lamp shut itself off and I got this warning on the touch panel again along with a "ballast communication" error. According to the manual if this happens we should just restart the projector and strike the lamp. I hard rebooted it and struck the lamp and it seems to be working normally.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Updated for the schedule change on Monday. Printed a copy out for tonight.

Marquee updated?: Put up Birds of Prey and Color Out of Space on the front; took down STB and put up Catvideofest 2020 on the 15th street side.

Posters updated?: Added now showing snipes to Birds of Prey and Color Out of Space

The party was a bit late seating, so the movie start was a little bit delayed. Overall it ran smoothly. Chenelle will get the blu-ray sent over here for us to have as backup. I set up the blu-ray player so it's connected to both the monitor and the projector, in case we end up needing to use the blu-ray. I sent Lillian and McKegg an email about this separately. To do this evening/ was completed: Big day for teching. Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Kat sent a new QR code clip which I tech'd volume for and added to all the 9/18 and SE playlists we have. The volume (3.8) has been noted on the white board. Projection Admin 9/2

To do this evening/ was completed: Our Network has been updated. Nick from DMS came in to drop off the relay mechanism and take a look at 3/7 before his install visit next week. I showed him in and around the space and he checked in with the WiFi guys. He also liased with Chris whilst scoping out the existing relay system in in 3/7.  It is still somewhat of a wreck in the 46 booth (cables and boxes that, to my knowledge, need to be thrown out, but I asked if they were going to clean up/what needs to be cleared out and I didn't get a proper response in both English and when I asked in Spanish lol so apparently someone might be coming round to finish that up tomorrow. If we don't, we can call Juan and double check. I did tidy things up though, so at least it's not absolute chaos in here.  Once the Network was up and properly running, I tested out theatres 4 and 6 to see if anything needed to be rebooted and lo n behold, only the dimmer panels needed to be rebooted in all the...
