NPP Projection Report 9/28


To do this evening/ was completed: Second round Nowhere Inn in Theater 4 and third round Blue Bayou in Theater 7 are manual starts.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built a new Teen trailer pack for 10/7, I'll make new first run playlists with this pack on Thursday when some of our current show playlists can be deleted to avoid having too many duplicates. NewAllAges trailer pack for 10/1 Addams Family 2 first run added to feature playlist.  

Scheduled everything from 10/1-10/6.

Ordering/Receiving (content): Venom 2 drive came in, it's been ingested and the show playlist has been made.

The issues with the Titane DCP have been solved, the workaround Max came up with was to ingest from Eclair directly to theater 4's server, and then to send it from there to all the other houses. The result is that we have Titane loaded on every server, since it's not on the TMS. Don't delete it from any server until it closes just in case we need it in a different theater. Playlist made and scheduled.

Checked tracking for the Bottle Rocket drive, it should be here tomorrow.

Placed an order for Possessor through Eclair which has been accepted, the DCP should be available on the server shortly but we can hold off on ingesting it until some features can be deleted from the TMS.

Received tracking for the Texas Chainsaw Massacre print, it should be arriving tomorrow.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): There are a few drives on the shelf which can be handed off to UPS next time they come.

Print/video Inspection: Checked the Josie & the Pussycats DVD for the private event on 10/12. Subtitles work, and it looks/sounds fine in the theater. Run time and credit time added to the asset tracking doc.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes, tracking and tech info added.

Maintenance/cleaning: During changeover practice with William in theater 1 we discovered the take-up belt on projector #2 is a bit too loose and can sometimes slide out of place leaving the take-up disconnected from the motor. I can easily fix it by shortening the belt slightly, just making note of it.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes, updated for Venom and Titane on 9/30.

Built cue sheets for Friday 10/1-Thursday 10/7. Missing end timing for 10/7, which will be filled in when this date is scheduled. Otherwise, only special events are incomplete and will be filled in as content arrives.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
