NPP Projection Report 11/9 Admin


To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Converted the preshow clip that Morricone Youth sent for the Foxy Brown screening to DCP and ingested to Theater 1.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Switched the HDMI input for the Christie in Theater 1 from the laptop connection for Spoons to the blu-ray player for the private event Friday morning.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingested keys for Planes, Trains, and Automobiles with no problems. It looks like we got sent Williamsburg keys along with our own which is why they wouldn't ingest. I reached out to Deluxe and they should have updated their system so we only get Prospect keys.

The print of The American Astronaut arrived, I brought it to Theater 1 and left it by the rewind bench. I'm holding off on inspecting it since this doesn't screen until the end of the month and we'll need the aluminum reels for the two 35mm screenings coming up before then.

Received DCP drives of Ponyo and Another Round. Ingested Ponyo directly to the Theater 2 server. Another Round screens later this month so we can hold off on ingesting it for now.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: William teched the Da 5 Bloods playlist with Cristina for tomorrow night. Everything is all set!

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes, added tracking for Belfast and Wolfwalkers, both should be arriving tomorrow.

Maintenance/cleaning: In order to temporary solve the issue with the lights in Theater 7, I unscrewed the bulbs for the sconces and adjusted the settings for the ceiling lights so they're a little brighter to compensate (the sconces don't add much brightness to the room anyway), so these will just stay off.

William, John, and I set up the turntables in Trees Lounge. We had some problems with the XLR inputs on the far side of the room (by the stairs up to the mezzanine) initially, but I remembered we need to open the small box on the wall by the other XLR inputs and connect the XLR cables inside it to those inputs in order to use the ones on the other side. So we'll have the option of setting up the turntables on either side for Thursday night.

Reached out to DMS to schedule another visit to get all the issues we've been having address. Hopefully they will make it in some time this week.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): William worked on cue sheets and TMS schedule for the coming week. I checked cues and the schedule for tonight, tomorrow, and Thursday.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
