Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built playlists for Spirited Away, Earth Girls are Easy preshow, Sundays on Fire preshow, and Love and Basketball preshow.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up:

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received posters for X

Ordering/Receiving (content): The Moonstruck DCP came in, it’s ingested to Theater 3.

Ordered My Neighbor Totoro and The Tale of Princess Kaguya through Eclair. Totoro is already on the server but we can hold off on ingesting it until next week.

Began the conversion of the BAPS DCP.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Teched Spirited Away and Marry Me. Both are good to go.

Finished inspecting Magnificent Warriors. The rest of the print was in better shape than the first reel but there are still a lot of splices and it’s quite scratchy.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes, updated entries for some rep titles which have shown up on the Deluxe portal.

Maintenance/cleaning: Changed a few light bulbs in Theater 7.

DMS was here all day again today and they were able to make some serious progress on the projector in Theater 1. They replaced and tightened the intermittent shoe (so the one from 4 should be able to go back in there now) and the flywheel on the motor, which Gregg is confident was the cause of the jittering. They also cleaned and regreased the motor as Yves wiped all the grease off yesterday when he was taking it apart. They didn’t replace everything with enough time to test it, but they will be back tomorrow to retime the shutter and run film on screen.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Updated timing for this weeks rep screenings, with the exception of Moonstruck as the content only came in today.

Marquee updated?: Took down West Side Story.

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
