Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Since servers were getting very full (all were in either the warning or critical states) with all the first runs moving around this week, I deleted several preshow clips that are not in use from each server. No preshow clips were deleted from the TMS so they are all still available if we need to use them in the future.

Downloaded and ingested the Generic Japanese preshow, May Black Cinema trailer, and the director's video intro for High Tide.

Built and scheduled playlists for Babe: Pig in the City preshow, Happiness of the Katakuris, and Blade Runner.

Manually ingested all playlists needed in Theater 1 for the week: new Everything Everywhere and Sonic playlists (no content needed to transfer, just the playlist), Fantastic Beasts (feature needed to be reloaded for a screening on Tuesday), and Blade Runner (feature already ingested locally, only playlist needed to be transferred).

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: The Friday screening went well overall, though when I started the motor on the second reel the leader snapped. I dowsed the other projector and muted the processor once the first reel finished and brought the lights up. I taped the leader on the second reel together, advanced the film through the projector just slightly so there was tension on the take up reel, brought the lights down and started the second reel. The film was off for about 1-2 minutes. After rewinding the second reel I fixed the leader with a proper tape repair. No other problems for the rest of the screening.

Broke down the mic and mixer in Theater 4, momentarily forgetting about the Cat People in there tomorrow night. I’ll set it up again during my admin tomorrow.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received a new Trail Mix drive.

Ordering/Receiving (content):

Outgoing/Shipping (content): There are a few features which can be deleted from certain servers during the closing shift tomorrow. I wrote all these down on the whiteboard with their last showtime in the given theater.

Printed and attached a return label for the Fleshtone materials and attached the included return labels for Friday. Scheduled a pickup for both for tomorrow, left them on the cart by the entrance at the end of the night.

Printed and attached a return label for Katakuris, I'll just drop this off in the FedEx box up the street the day after its screening.

Print/video Inspection:

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Added tracking for Blade, The Mask, and Watchmen prints, all of which are coming from Park Circus and should be here on Monday.

Maintenance/cleaning:

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Filled in timing for Babe, Katakuris, and Blade Runner screenings.

Additional Notes: Improved our system for keeping track of first run content ingests on the whiteboard, now instead of just having every server for each film listed, server numbers will be circled when the content is fully loaded onto that server. This way we can easily see what needs to get loaded where and make sure that happens well before the first screening.
