To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built and scheduled playlists for Bride of Chucky, This Much I Know to Be True, and Sundays on Fire preshow. Need another Comics preshow clip to build Batman and Blade playlists.

Made a few updates to next week's playlists and trailer packs. The R pack did not have the book trailer and was therefore too short, and the PG pack had the latest Lightyear trailer which made it too long. Since we're only mandated to play the newest Lightyear trailer before Doctor Strange, I put the previous version of the trailer in the PG pack to get it to the right length. The preshow for the Doctor Strange playlist was off, too. It had two all ages preshow clips instead of the 15min Comics clip which was available to download from Google Drive. These updates changed the timing for certain shows, I noticed they were changed on Thursday's cue sheets as I put in the runtime of the previous playlists for that day and some of the playlists as they were before I updated them were a minute shorter or longer. I re-updated the cues for Thursday with the correct lengths.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up:

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received posters for I Wanna Dance With Somebody, they’re in the caddy. This one has a December release date.

Ordering/Receiving (content): This Much I Know to Be True DCP came through the Eclair server, I ingested it to Theater 3.

The Bride of Chucky drive also came, ingested it to Theater 3 as well.

The TMNT: The Movie print came in. I brought it to Theater 1's booth.

Ingested keys for Doctor Strange, Sonic, and Fantastic Beasts. We’ll need new ones for pretty much everything else before Friday.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Handed off the Sin City drive to John to take to Williamsburg.

Arranged the pickup of the Drag Me to Hell print with DHL for tomorrow, printed and attached FedEx labels for both cans of Freeway and scheduled a pickup with them for tomorrow as well. Both prints are on the cart by the entrance.

Print/video Inspection: Finished inspecting the Watchmen print, now that Drag Me to Hell is off house reels there will be enough for Millionaires’ Express and then for Videodrome after that comes off. The Watchmen print is in great condition

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes, updated tracking for Millionaires' Express, it is coming tomorrow.

Face/Off will be an in house DCP, the studio only had a blu-ray to offer. We should have this file soon.

Maintenance/cleaning: Jerry was here this morning to look at the interlock on the Theater 1 Christie, the HDMI issue in Theater 2, and to take back the dead booth PCs in 2 and 5.

Christie sent the wrong part for the Theater 1 projector, but the issue was still resolved fixing a part of the cooling duct in the interior of the projector. The part that creates the pressure for the interlock switch was loose, so while the lamphouse was still being cooled, the interlock switch wasn’t in the right position hence the error everyday.

Jerry noticed the plug to the wall outlet for the Theater 2 Christie was burnt, he said he’ll be back tomorrow with a new plug and to read the power from the outlet. He also said the lamp was strobing, which I noticed on an all white test pattern but it was too faint to notice in an actual movie, so it shouldn’t be a problem for tonight. Once the power is checked and the plug is replaced we’ll replace the lamp with one of the backups we have.

He also pulled logs from the projector to investigate the HDMI issue, and also said it could have been caused by intermittent power.

After he left I tested the Mediablock HDMI CPL Chris put on the Theater 2 IMS and it seemed to work well with the blu-ray, but I could not get the laptop onscreen at all, both with and without this CPL playing.

Chris emailed us after taking apart the two Booth PCs and he said the main system boards are dead. He also said that Dell may not be manufacturing replacement parts anymore and if not they’ll need to be completely replaced.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Filled in cue sheets for the coming week. Only missing timing for Batman, Blade, Sundays on Fire and Face/Off (content not yet received), and credits start for This Much I Know (no credit offset included with the DCP).

Marquee updated?:

Posters updated?:
