Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: The tip PSA was missing from a few of next weeks playlists, I added it before scheduling anything.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: The Gremlins 2 screening went well. I think something’s up with the analog soundhead on projector 2, however. Reels on this projector sounded quieter than ones on projector 1. It wasn’t terrible, but we should get it looked at before the Hellraiser 2 screening (Bling Ring has a digital soundtrack, which is processed by a separate soundhead, so this shouldn’t be an issue with that one). I’ll check in with Roger tomorrow.

There was also a splice at the beginning of reel 4 (after the head leader splice) which cause the film to go out of frame. I got it back in frame with the framing knob, so it was only out for a few seconds.

Intro went well, mics are back in the booth.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): A drive with DCPs of Slumber Party Massacre II and Perdita Durango came from AGFA. Ingested both to Theater 4.

Downloaded the DCP of Freda for the private event on 6/23. Left it ingesting to Theater 1 as I left for the night. I sent them the certificate for the server to generate a KDM for the screening and requested one for this Friday to test.

Ingested new keys for Bob’s Burgers, Crimes of the Future, Top Gun, Doctor Strange, Men, and Everything Everywhere.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Left the Double Team print on the cart for the courier to pick up tomorrow when the D.E.B.S. print is dropped off.

Print/video Inspection: Inspected the Bling Ring print. It’s in good condition, though not as good as I was expecting for a print of such a new movie. There are fairly significant base scratches on the left side of the image, by the soundtrack, throughout all reels, and there were two points where the film was heavily creased and the edges chewed by a projector. It should present fine as the scratches don’t look like they’ll be very prominent when projected.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes, added tracking/info for The Black Phone, it’s coming tomorrow.

Added all Cinema events for July.

Maintenance/cleaning:

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Checked cues and schedule for tomorrow, all good.

Scheduled playlists for Friday and Saturday and filled in credits on the cue sheets.

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
