Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Downloaded and ingested the 7/24 forecast and Black Phone and Elvis playlists.

Kat sent out the trailer list early so I built next week’s playlists. The PG-13 and R packs have placeholders for trailers which haven’t been uploaded yet. There are two versions of the PG-13 pack, one needs the Carl Franklin trailer and the other needs the Leading Ladies of Sci-Fi trailer. R needs the Carl Franklin trailer.

Converted the Mubi promo for the Jade screening to DCP and added it to the playlist.

Trailer Updates: Ingested Bodies, Bodies, Bodies, Bullet Train, and Cat Video Fest 2020 for next week’s trailer packs.

Special Events/ AV set up: Set up a mic in Theater 4 for the D.E.B.S. intro tomorrow.

The private Jurassic World screening in Theater 1 went well. The party was very late so it ended very close to the first preshow in the theater. When the theater was ready to open for Top Gun I wasn’t in any booth and Splashtop on my phone was being slow and unresponsive, so it took me a few minutes to get to a booth and bring the lights down. Mentioning in case MOD bring it up in their report, they walkied me several times to bring the lights down.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Elvis arrived today, I ingested it to the TMS and sent it to all servers.

Drives for Desert Hearts and The Land Before Time came as well. Ingested the DCPs to Theater 1 and Theater 4, respectively.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Checked the Punk DCP, it’s a short film that’s part of the Carl Franklin series, playing before One False Move. Cristina mentioned the frame rate looking off, and I did notice the motion was a tiny bit jumpy. She said we will try to have a Digibeta sent for comparison. If that gets shipped I’ll try and get the player back from Williamsburg.

Checked Slumber Party Massacre II with Cristina as well in Theater 3. It’s all good. Checked the credit offset and added a cue to the playlist.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Added info for Punk.

Maintenance/cleaning:

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Scheduled Elvis and Black Phone playlists for Thursday and filled in cues.

Filled in credits cues for Slumber Party Massacre.

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
