NPP Projection Report 6/22


To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Got the DCP of the slide/music for the Bling Ring performance just a few hours before the showtime. No issues getting it on the server.

Received the holding slide for the intro and Q&A for the private event tomorrow night, as well as a slideshow for the preshow. Converted both to DCP and built the playlist. On DCP-o-Matic, the slide looked a bit pixelated, though the resolution of the image itself was high. I checked both the slide and slideshow on screen in Theater 1 to make sure they looked good and they did.

Built and scheduled the Desert Hearts playlist for this weekend.

Downloaded an updated Mubi promo for the Jade screening tomorrow, converted it to DCP, ingested it, and added to the preshow playlist.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: The Bling Ring screening, intro, and performance went well. The performer gave a short outro after her performance, so I had to pause the playlist as the teaser would’ve started right away after the video ended, which messed with the cues and the dowser did not open after the lens file switch for their teaser (the performance video was scope and the teaser flat). I manually opened it after a few seconds. Also, since the print was pretty beat up, some edge damage at the end of certain reels caused the image to go in and out of focus toward the center, a bit before the changeover cues appeared.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received a poster for The Black Phone (only one).

Ordering/Receiving (content): Received a drive with a DCP of Press Play, which is for the private event on Tuesday 6/28. Ingested it to Theater 6.

Ingested keys for The Black Phone and Elvis.

The Digibeta tape of Punk arrived.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Double Team and D.E.B.S. prints were picked up.

Print/video Inspection: Finished inspecting The Matrix, no changes; it’s a bit beat up.

Teched Desert Hearts, raised the volume quite a bit as it has a mono soundtrack. It looks and sounds great!

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Added tracking for the Hellraiser II print, it’s coming this Friday.

Maintenance/cleaning: Reorganized the poster caddy, and updated the list of trivia posters.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Filled in credits for Desert Hearts.

Marquee updated?:

Posters updated?: Took down Marcel the Shell in the lobby and hung up The Black Phone.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
