NPP Projection Report 7/25 Close

To do this evening/ was completed: The film schedule was sent out very late this evening and I did not have a moment to begin working on it; I will begin (and try to complete) it during my shift tomorrow after I finish the Mo' Better Blues walkthrough in the morning with Desmond and finish re-inspecting The Burning 

Presentation Issues: Critical alarm is still active on theater 1's projector; the room got a bit warm during the last show so the MODs set up the fans again and asked me to turn the feature volume up -- it should be noted that the glass was not fogging at the start of the show and did not begin fogging during it

Special Events/ AV set up: The Burning screening in theater 4 went smoothly (I got ahead of myself by a few seconds on the changeover between reels 1 and 2 because I thought I saw the cues earlier than they actually appeared and switched over to the second reel about 10 seconds too soon, however, the rest of the changeovers were seamless) and left the reels with tails out in the cabinet in 4/6 for re-inspection

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Tested Dirty Dancing and Cleopatra Jones... CPLs in between rounds in theater 2 this evening and took note of volume levels and credit offset information and added these to the asset tracking doc (Shouting at the Screen show playlist has yet to be built; the event calendar says it needs a 45 minute pre-show for setup but the the cue sheets have the pre-show running the usual 40 minutes including the intro?)

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state.
