NPP Projection Report 8/30 Close

To do this evening/ was completed: Ingested preshow content and keys for DC Super-Pets, Thor: Love and Thunder, and Top Gun: Maverick

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Updated show playlists for 9/2 for Beast, DC Super-Pets (trailer pack needs extra content), Thor: Love and Thunder, and Top Gun: Maverick 

Trailer Updates: Made "Cinema Day" trailer packs for all film ratings, however, the PG trailer pack is too short in general and needs to be updated

Special Events/ AV set up: The Reverend screening and Q&A in theater 1 went well and the talkback was recorded and uploaded to the shared drive (there was a minor technical issue involving the memory card so about 3 minutes of the conversation was lost but John and Kat have been emailed and informed; Kat will have to splice together the two separate MP4 files to make for a smooth transition between them for Brooklyn Magazine to use for its website)

Set up mics/wires for trivia at Trees Lounge this evening; this went smoothly and all mics/wires were returned to 4/6

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Contacted the Deluxe help line about ordering a new DCP drive for Minions: The Rise of Gru and was told they did not have any bookings currently scheduled for that title so we will have to contact the studio to place an order for the hard drive to be delivered no later than Friday

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
