Projection Admin 10/12 ~ Important information...and where to find things!

To do this evening/ was completed:
Our early morning Real Estate rental event went just fine (in T1). Downloaded and made a DCP of the updated NewFest loop that Kim sent over this morning. I sent out an email about this, but I'll reference it here again: the new file is UpdatedNewFest_XSN. I built the Wendell & Wild playlist. Checked Triangle of Sadness and it looks and sounds great.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: QC'd with Desmond and Rachel for preshow materials in T1&3. Adjusted the playlists we built with the proper volumes attached. I made a separate tab for trailer/ad volumes on the DCP x tracking sheet for NewFest, and it's under Trailers/Ads. The volume for T1's content is also applicable for T2, should any feature/shorts programme need a trailer from the T1 volume list (they're similarly sized theatres). In an ideal world, the mixes for most of these would be comparable and we'd only need a set volume for preshow content, but as with most festivals, the clips do, in fact, really range with volume, so we have to be extra careful when making playlists so that each CPL is correct.
What we tested: Chevrolet 2 mins, Chev 60 secs, Instagram, Warner Media, New Fest 22, Gilead, Edge, LatinX, Hurtigruten and we tested image for the new loop (from this morning) to make sure the spelling mistakes were out.
Big Mouth/Dead End info is also listed on the second tab.

I transferred all of Jack's NewFest tech info (from the other day, in his email) into the DCP x Tracking sheet.

I built the playlist for Black Adam.

Trailer Updates: Only trailer we were missing today during out QC session was Spoiler Alert, specifically for the Birdcage playlist. I downloaded the DCP and ingested it.

Special Events/ AV set up: Took down the chairs, mics, and cleaned up under the curtain in T1.

I tried what Alec suggested the other day, using the splitter's RCA input to connect the converter to the Trees Tvs using other components, but it didn't work. I really thought it would. If anyone one else would like to have a go at this before we order a new one, please feel free to.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): John dropped off the Brooklyn Horror drive to us this evening and I built the playlist for Nocebo

Ordering/Receiving (content): We received the second can of Beetlejuice today. We also received the CRU drive for Birdcage, which I ingested into T3.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Guffman, Beetlejuice, and Woman Chaser can be inspected.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: We got a load of qtips the other day, the 6 inch ones will follow. We also received an unbelievable amount of Superlube, which, as I stated in a previous write up, will get out Projectors' gears into great shape.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Cue sheet updated with Nocebo info. Cue Sheets will start this evening.

Marquee updated?: I got the letters sorted for the marquee but had to step away (called in all directions type of day...) I got the Brooklyn Horror drive from John mere minutes before McKegg got in, so I asked that he take down Moonage Daydream, Candyman, and put up Triangle of Sadness alongside NYC LGBTQ+ Film Festival while I get the drive and playlist for Nocebo sorted. Thanks, McKegg!

Posters updated?: Triangle of Sadness got moved outside, Barbarian got taken down. Black Adam is up in the lobby.

Cleaning lights on for the night?:

Projection cart by entrance?:
