NPP Projection Admin 11/14 - Jack



To do this evening/ was completed: Downloaded and ingested all Jungle/Volcano: Motion Picture shorts and tech'd them with Desmond. Volumes and aspects logged. Kat was not able to upload the feature (Volcano: The Motion Picture) to Drive due to its size so someone will be bringing it over from WB tomorrow.

Chicken Run ingested to T1, Shadow of a Doubt to T2.

Ran through In The Heat of the Night with Desmond and set up a mic for the intro. Just turn the mixer on. Spotlight remote on top of the equipment bin.

Scheduled the week in the TMS and finished most of the cue sheets.

Tech'd Lola with Cristina, volume logged. Bad Lieutenant tech'd as well.

Double checked Evangelion playlist. It had the NoGPO cue pack instead of the regular DCP show start pack. Playlist updated.

Buffalo '66 and Lethal Weapon prints arrived, resting in T1.

Alec filed down the 1.66 P2 T4 plate as there was a bit of black on the top of the screen when looking at Lola.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. We'll get our eyes on the DCP tomorrow to compare sound, though we're almost certain the loud, static noises that occur during scenes of explosions or closeups of nuclear particles are intentional.  I want to share with everyone a document I've whipped up called Housekeeping Notes for the Projectionist: Plattering Oppenheimer. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
