Projection Admin 12/21

To do this evening/ was completed: Fire alarm went off this morning. Jack and I reset all the theatres apart from T1 and T6, which did not follow suit with their Fire Safety trigger cues. I emailed DMS about this to make sure we sort out our system as soon as possible. I made the rounds today, checked in on all theatres to make sure everything's working properly/T2 hatch closed. 

Staff Screenings are out for tomorrow and Tuesday. Blocked on the calendar. 

School screening went just fine this morning despite the fire alarm. 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: We tech'd the following content: 
American Fiction feature (brought this up half a db to 5.5) 
Iron Claw feature
Migration feature

Tech'd all preshow content for the above. There's a part of the 5min Iron Claw preshow that sounds a bit rough at the beginning. Reached out to Kat and Joe to let them know and to see how it sounds over there. 

Re-inspected Cobra and packaged it up for outgoing tomorrow. Print is resting by side entrance. My initial inspection report was private and only viewable to me, but I've made it accessible now. Didn't realize it was private when I made it. We tried to add it to the 2023 folder today but that folder wasn't available when designating a location.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up:

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received more American Fiction posters, received Ghostbusters and Civil War posters. The posters are updated outside and we're good, for now, in the lobby. 

Ordering/Receiving (content): Wonderful Life KDM will be active tomorrow. 

Received the new keys for Wonka and Ferrari.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Cobra outbound. Jack made and printed out labels. 

Print/video Inspection:

Maintenance/cleaning: Received the new speaker and mounts! Juan will be assisting Alec and I tomorrow. 

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Filled out the rest of the missing spots on the sheets, scheduled the rest of the TMS.

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
