Projection Admin 1/31



To do this evening/ was completed: Just so everyone knows, Blazing Saddles has about a minute of credits so I've added on 2 min of black at the end for servers. TMS reflects this. Cue sheets updated. Please remember to double check first run formulas- Origin/Argylle were off. Make note if you're unsure about the credits info for first run features that haven't been tech'd yet or don't have that info readily available. 

Made a list of everything Jack and I need to tech starting tomorrow, which is on the desk in 4/6, but writing it here for posterity: Bunch of keys opening up tomorrow! NewFestxHBO, Don't Tell Her It's Me, Yi Yi, Paddington 2, Airplane, Boy n Heron, Oppenheimer, Argylle. 

No one came to the T5 round 1 screening of Wonka, so we turned it off. 

Argylle staff screenings out. 

Still downloading/converting NH shorts. 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Scheduled the Airplane playlist for T7 and transferred the cpl since it was in T6. 

Downloaded and ingested the 5min_Argylle preshow content. Added to the playlist. 

Built/scheduled the playlist for Paddington 2. 

Checked the sound and lights in Theater 2 after the wall got worked on, everything is fine except the sconce light on the part of the wall they were working on won't turn on. Will get looked at tomorrow.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Ready for 32 Sounds tonight. John and the host team will be here this evening to distribute headphones. 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Received Sense and Sensibility today. 

Received and ingested all assets for the NewFestxHBO event this upcoming week: Sizzle reel, Land Acknowledgment, Intro Slide and Q&A Slide. We'll be teching this tomorrow with their reps and can then build out the playlist properly. 

Received and ingested Time Bandits to T1. 

Received and ingested KDMs for Zone of Interest, Argyle, Oppenheimer, Mean Girls, Poor Things. 

Keys for Blazing Saddles open up Friday morning. 

Keys for Argyle open up tomorrow. 

The higher quality Thomasine & Bushrod file is converting to DCP on the booth 1 iMac, should finish tomorrow at some point.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): When the time comes, both Super Fly and Space Jam will need to get circuited. I made a note about this on the white board in 4/6.

Taxi Driver and The Fan got picked up today by Sony. 

Print/video Inspection: Inspected Sense and Sensibility, nice print, should look great!s

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes. Updated today. 

Maintenance/cleaning: Adjusted the turret for the scope lens on P1 in Th1, a bit of the plate was showing on the top of the screen.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Filled out the information for 32 Sounds this evening. Adjusted the timing for Argyle and checked Boy and the Heron in first run formulas.

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
