NPP Projection 5/6 Close

To do this evening/ was completed: A quiet night overall; smaller weekday crowds and very little to do in the way of maintenance or special events (made the rounds throughout the afternoon before setting up for the screening in theater 1 which took up the majority of the evening)

Presentation Issues: LampLOC sensor alarms in theater 1 (noticing a dimmer/flickering image in this auditorium from the Christie projector; possibly related to this warning and in need of an alignment)

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: The Amazing Spider-Man screening in theater 1 this evening played to a modestly sized crowd but the run of show went super smoothly

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Carrie finished ingesting to theater 2 and the hard drive was brought back to the 4/6 booth

New keys for Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes were delivered and uploaded to the TMS

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Re-inspected The Amazing Spider-Man and packaged it for return shipment (the box it was delivered in is by the rewind bench in booth 1)

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning:

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Double checked and adjusted some times and show playlists accordingly + initialed for confirmation

Marquee updated?: Removed the rental text and added letters for The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Dune (1984), and The Flintstones alongside their corresponding screening dates

Posters updated?:

Cleaning lights on for the night?: Yes

Projection cart by entrance?:

Additional Notes: Closed captioning device was brought back to the closet on the third floor but none of these are plugged in to charge since there is a ton of equipment stacked to the door taking up space by the A/V cart

To do this evening/ was completed: Big day for teching. Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Kat sent a new QR code clip which I tech'd volume for and added to all the 9/18 and SE playlists we have. The volume (3.8) has been noted on the white board. Projection Admin 9/2

To do this evening/ was completed: Our Network has been updated. Nick from DMS came in to drop off the relay mechanism and take a look at 3/7 before his install visit next week. I showed him in and around the space and he checked in with the WiFi guys. He also liased with Chris whilst scoping out the existing relay system in in 3/7.  It is still somewhat of a wreck in the 46 booth (cables and boxes that, to my knowledge, need to be thrown out, but I asked if they were going to clean up/what needs to be cleared out and I didn't get a proper response in both English and when I asked in Spanish lol so apparently someone might be coming round to finish that up tomorrow. If we don't, we can call Juan and double check. I did tidy things up though, so at least it's not absolute chaos in here.  Once the Network was up and properly running, I tested out theatres 4 and 6 to see if anything needed to be rebooted and lo n behold, only the dimmer panels needed to be rebooted in all the...
