NPP Projection Open 5/7



To do this evening/ was completed: A busy morning here with techs and the usual cue sheet business. Everything should be set for Antonia's Line tonight. 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: I built out most of the playlist for Carrie. I converted the songs into DCPs, ingested them, and loaded them into the playlist. 

Trailer Updates: I added the Hitman trailer to the PG-13 trailer pack. It looks like it's making the end times 2 minutes shorter than what's on the cue sheets. 

Special Events/ AV set up: Desmond came over to tech the Carrie show. We have the lighting cues programmed into the light board for the spots/wash. The songs weren't converted yet those still need to be teched for volume. 

I set up the mics in Theater 4 and tested them for the Antonia's Line screening tonight. 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): We received Transformers one sheets. 

Ordering/Receiving (content): The Amazing Spider-Man 2 print came in and I brought it up to Booth 1. 

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Desmond came over to take a look at The Flintstones. It's looking and sounding good. Volume should be 7.3 on both processors. 

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes

Maintenance/cleaning:

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): I did the cue sheets for next week and scheduled automation. All it needs is the event credit timing.

The party was a bit late seating, so the movie start was a little bit delayed. Overall it ran smoothly. To do this evening/ was completed: Big day for teching. Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Kat sent a new QR code clip which I tech'd volume for and added to all the 9/18 and SE playlists we have. The volume (3.8) has been noted on the white board. Projection Admin 9/2

To do this evening/ was completed: Our Network has been updated. Nick from DMS came in to drop off the relay mechanism and take a look at 3/7 before his install visit next week. I showed him in and around the space and he checked in with the WiFi guys. He also liased with Chris whilst scoping out the existing relay system in in 3/7.  It is still somewhat of a wreck in the 46 booth (cables and boxes that, to my knowledge, need to be thrown out, but I asked if they were going to clean up/what needs to be cleared out and I didn't get a proper response in both English and when I asked in Spanish lol so apparently someone might be coming round to finish that up tomorrow. If we don't, we can call Juan and double check. I did tidy things up though, so at least it's not absolute chaos in here.  Once the Network was up and properly running, I tested out theatres 4 and 6 to see if anything needed to be rebooted and lo n behold, only the dimmer panels needed to be rebooted in all the...
