Projection Admin 6/14



To do this evening/ was completed: Hello! I'll be away this weekend, but wanted to leave a note here as it's been tough to tech things in T4 since they're working in there all morning through to the afternoon, so please, if someone could get their eyes on the DCP of Make Me Famous this weekend, I would appreciate it! Just want to make sure everything's sound. 

Tech'd The Last Starfighter, Search for Spock, Humanist Vampire (no KDM, so figured I'd take a peek). 

School screening went very well this morning despite the tidal wave of popcorn that followed. Oh, kids. 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Starfighter playlist is correct for brunch. 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Before Sunset finished in handbrake, so I started on the DCP. This is transcoding in T1 and should be done some time tomorrow, early eve. 

Downloaded the last video for the Student Film Series private event next week (6/20) entitled 5th grade interviews. I'd say we can DCP this on the 4/6 comp (where it's been downloaded to...sorry if that was already obvious) sometime this weekend at the earliest. We've got a bit of time and it's only a half hour long. 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Took a look at the trailer lists for next week and ingested Transformers One TLR 3 from Deluxe. 

Ordering/Receiving (content): Lots of content coming in from Kat today as she'll be on vacation soon, so we've got both the 6/21 and 6/28 incoming elements. Quite a bit is still uploading to the drive. Tonight we can start building out playlists with what we have! Be sure to keep checking in on the others that are still uploading. I have downloaded and ingested all of the following. Thanks! (Janet Planet preshow is not yet on the drive. it's still in the xDo Not Ingestx section)

Cristina came through with two BluRays of Heathers, one of which is of better quality so I'm going with that one. It's currently gettin ripped in MakeMKV. We can put this through Handbrake next once it's done. Thanks!

Print/video Inspection: Started inspecting The Sandpiper, it's in very nice shape. Got through two reels, this can get continued tonight.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Swapped out the 1.66 lenses for 1.85 since we've got Mulholland Drive this Sat/Sun. Cleaned the lenses and ran loops for tomorrow. Port glass is all set, tape masking set.

To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all! Well, we're just about there! Barbenheimer starts tomorrow. Alec and I ran the print this morning as a dress rehearsal to check image/sound and to give our lovely staff a first look. The print looks really beautiful and I'm very excited for this run. NPP Projection 11/17 Close

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start.
