Projection Admin 6/27

To do this evening/ was completed: Set up the wireless mics in Trees and tested it out, this is how we should set up for Karaoke from now on (not really worth the extra effort for trivia since they only use 1-2 mics). I updated the manual to include this, look it over when you have a chance -al

This morning - took a look at A Quiet Place: Day One/Janet Planet. Leaving myself a reminder here that the keys for On the Town open up tomorrow so can get tech'd in the morning. - L

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Downloaded and ingested the Jaws Slide (playlist updated), Despicable Me preshow content. Added the latter preshow content to the Current First Runs section in the preshows/trailers drive. 

Built the playlists for Despicable Me 4. 

Built the playlist for Bound. - L

Trailer Updates: Built a PG trailer pack for 6/28 and added it to the Inside out playlists. 

Special Events/ AV set up: In addition to the 35mm trailer for DOA, with our shining star, Eric Roberts, today Cristina discovered that Akon's Smack That video also came out in 2006, which features Eric Roberts (who else remembers this absolute gem?) so we couldn't NOT DCP part of the music video to show beforehand. Playlist updated. MOD is aware, but said it's not a big deal in terms of the sheets since it's only a two minute difference. - L

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Started on the DCP for Shouting at the Screen's Dr. Black and Mr. Hyde with the comp in T1. This should be done transcoding by tomorrow morning. - L

Our contact from FilmRise for the DCP of The Miseducation of Cameron Post will be sending me the file via Aspera, either EOD today or sometime Tuesday, which is perfectly fine since we have a good chunk of time. - L

I spoke with the collector who's loaning us their print of Bound. I sent him a shipping label and scheduled the pickup from his location. It should get here on Saturday, -al

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Printed return labels for Dangerous Game and placed it on the cart. Pickup is scheduled for tomorrow. -al

Print/video Inspection: Spruced up the trailer reel of Best of the Best with some leader on both the heads/tails to support it structurally and so that it's less likely to get burnt (gives you more time to head back to the projector to close the dowser when you make that changeover to DOA. I took a look at the trailer and tested it out a few times in the early AM before showing it to Cristina. It looks and sounds good. Runs fine through the projector despite a rough patch at the end. Wait for the credits to pop up in the trailer reel, then give yourself a few seconds before starting the motor for DOA. There's a quick, additional scene after the credits in the trailer. Volume has been noted for both DOA (took a look at it today) and the trailer on the cards attached to the reels. - L

Desmond and I went through all the NoBudge shorts today and they look and sound great! I've got volume and lens/masking info for each short. - L

Ran some of Ripley for Desmond, looks great. Volume noted on the card. -al

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Checked and initialed. Added the Despicable Me 4 playlists to the TMS for 7/3 and 7/4. - L
