NPP Projection Close 10/15

To do this evening/ was completed: 

Presentation Issues: Last rounds in theaters 1 and 3 were started manually following the NewFest events

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Added the T4TRANSGRESSIVE and Carnage for Christmas show playlists to theaters 1 and 3 on the TMS for tomorrow so the missing content transfers overnight

Built and scheduled an OCAP infants show playlist for Piece by Piece on 10/22

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: The events in 1 and 3 overlapped and the former ran slightly over due to NewFest organizers obsessing over light cues and chair placement/having to test light levels and mics for the camera crew before the show -- this aside, the shorts program in 1 and The Talented Mr. Ripley Film Feast screening in 3 went about as smoothly as they could given all the running around and last minute techs + the Q&A was recorded and stored on the booth 1 desktop

Wireless mics in 1 were brought back to the booth to charge (the wired mic is still connected to its mixer beneath the curtain but was not used and is powered off for now) and the chairs were returned to storage

DJ setup for the afterparty required a bit of troubleshooting to get playback through the monitor speaker but we ultimately resolved to use an XLR to XLR connection and do without RCA cables to connect his system to the mixer (DJ key is on the desktop in 4/6)

NewFest video loop was played via Plex and left on for the duration of the evening above the bar and on the projector

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): We Live in Time and The Wild Robot keys were ingested + Venom: The Last Dance content was made available and ingested to the TMS (the credits are 16 minutes long...leading me to believe there is some sort of mid and/or post-credits sequence present)

Updated version of 90s docs trailer (TLR_SE_90sDocs_V2) was ingested and added to the necessary 10/18 show playlists

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Removed The Talented Mr. Ripley from its server after the screening

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
