To do this evening/ was completed: Still weeding things out with DMS.
Coverage all set for this weekend. Thanks, Jack! Thanks, everyone, for rolling with the punches. I know Alec appreciates it and so do I.
Presentation Issues:
Preshow Clips/Playlist: Anora sounded better at 6.0 so I updated the playlists. Everything looks and sounds good as far as new feature content goes.

Deleted a large number of playlists, feature and preshow content we no longer need.
Trailer Updates: Updated the 10/18 trailer packs today, double checked that 10/25 packs are all set for tomorrow.
Special Events/ AV set up: Got the setup ready for Shouting at the Screen and tested everything: Kept the external speakers up to get that out of the way, brought in the wireless receiver unit from T1, got the mixer hooked up to the receiver and external speakers then tested the mics and all content. Since we can only use 3 wireless mics with the receiver, I patched in the fourth using one adapter in the theatre with an xlr connected to the fourth input on the mixer for the PA, and then used a corresponding xlr with a female to female adapter in the booth (on the wall) to then connect to the wireless mics, taking the OG cable out of the processor like we used to. I got the Aja hooked up and tested all four mics over both the feature content and the slideshow on the laptop, but the slideshow doesn't actually have sound. I also tested the bluetooth remote so they can control the slides. It is charging, along with the laptop, in 4/6.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Received more Anora posters, but they're the smaller, thicker ones. They're very nice and we have loads of them.

The keys for 5000 Fingers will open up tomorrow so I'll go ahead and tech then.

Maintenance/cleaning: Caught up a bit with Chenelle for the requirements for the private event this week. She looped us in for a few more events coming up.

Marquee updated?: Lots of outgoing shows, got a good arm workout in. Took down A Different Man, Piece by Piece, My Old Ass, Beetlejuice, and Joker 2. Put up Anora, Conclave, and Venom 3.
Posters updated?: Took down a couple posters, too and added Conclave, Anora, Venom 3 with Now Showing Banners and added Heretic and A Real Pain with Coming Soon banners.

Additional Notes: While I was doing the marquee, I met a guy named Eddie V, who told me he used to work here when it was The Sanders. He was an usher and his late friend, Raymond, did the marquee letters and in the winter they'd joke with him by throwing snowballs over from the park while he put up new titles. Eddie is also apparently a professional hustler and in the 70s and 80s he would do a bunch of quaaludes at the local disco houses and then get breakfast at the diner which is now the Chipotle next door. He did a long term in Vietnam and remembers his last shift at the theatre before they shipped him off to fight. He calls himself a bit of a weasel with the ladies and three times he said to me, before jumping into the next story, "I'm gonna hold onto your arm now because you're gonna fall over when I tell you this."
