Projection Close 10/14



To do this evening/ was completed: Alec will be out until next Tuesday. I will be in for admin on Saturday and the evening will be done remotely. 

Desmond, Dustin and I tech'd the playlists this morning for NewFest. Everything is in order and the new slide looks great. I updated the playlists. Tuesday - Desmond will want to go over the playlists for tomorrow, too. And we'll need to make sure the NewFest loops for the TVs are on for the after party! 

Spotify is open on both the 3/7 comp and T1 iMac computer. We're using Desmond's account in T1 and our projection account in 3/7. T1 via mac mini/imac. 

HBO Tech confirmed for Thursday in T2! 

Double checked the IMS servers showing Piece by Piece to make sure nothing looks funky. 

Cleared what we don't need off the desktop. 

Presentation Issues: 

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Dead Mail, which we still need to QC. We also received a new slide for the intro/q&a and can test both out. I'll be updating Justin on the playlist Thursday afternoon after our HBO tech so that we can make sure everything is in the right order, but he'll likely want to go over this in the evening, too. 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: I set up the mic for the intro in T3 (spots remote is in the box) 

Mic stand is off to the side for T1. Bring down the mics when the time is ready. 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Received the keys for Beetle Juice and My Old Ass

Downloaded and ingested new slides for NF.

Maintenance/cleaning: Leaving myself a note here to perform all the 220 changes for Joker in T5 on Weds morning since we have a showing in there on Wednesday afternoon and thats the only theatre without the new changes. 

Checked out the gears in T4 and T1. Cleaned the glass in 4/6.

To do this evening/ was completed:v Mandy ingested to T1. Reached out to Vision for new posters. Was placed on hold, which was more an unending cycle of pressing 1 for hold and then being told to press 0 for voicemail or 1 for hold. Point being I left a voicemail requesting new posters. Gave them our account number, location and my cell. Outgoing marquee letters taken down. 11/10 playlists and forecasts deleted, Chicken Run V2 and Christmas Action trailers downloaded and ingested, 11/24 A1 playlists and packs built. Inspected Raising Cain print. It's in good condition, minimal scratching, no splices. Inspection sheet filled out. Transferred Marvels content to T6, as it was missing from the server due to the 1:20 tomorrow being a manual start. NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state. To do this evening/ was completed: Hey all. Thanks for the Christmas coverage and for quickly hopping on board to accompany Alec while he's out for a little while - I really appreciate it. We've just about got our schedule sorted, so please remember to take a look to see the changes made.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Double checked that T6 and T6 specific playlists are all set.  Tomorrow! Please get your eyes on When Harry Met Sally just to check sound/image and credits info. Screens this Saturday/Sunday but the keys open up tomorrow. I adjusted the playlist based on the ingest letter (and looked it up online, but the offset is a little different, so you'll want to make sure!) Thanks!
