Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Tech'd the holding slide and feature content for The Commandant's Shadow, private event in T3 tomorrow. I tested one mic, but Chenelle just confirmed this eve that there will be two mics needed, so pop another one down there tomorrow, please! She also just added the Spotify playlist to the event memo, so please use that for preshow (holding slide only, then switch to the mics on the processor). - L

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Ran loops in theater 1 for The Bad Seed -WB

Downloaded the feature file for Aileen Wuornos, which I've DCP'd and is finishing to the Almodovar drive in 4/6. FYI - still waiting on Chenelle to confirm with us whether the hosts for Boy n Heron want Japanese w/English subs or the English dub. - L

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Received and ingested Hoop Dreams direct to T4 - L
Received the print of Sudden Death, which Will inspected today. Pics have been added to the drive in the 2024 section. - L
Keys for The Conversation uploaded. I also reached out for an eta on the key delivery for To Sleep With Anger. - L

Lots of discussion around T2's needs, but Greg (and I'm assuming others) will be in tomorrow at 9am to install a temp projector. We have cancelled the last two rounds because Heretic and Conclave are unpresentable. I'm actively reaching out to other people to see what options we have for servicing, supplies, and thinking about what the best decisions might be for our larger screening rooms moving forward. L

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. SE screenings went smoothly. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state.
