To do this evening/ was completed: Had our cinema meeting. Weekly update is out! Please feast your eyes on it when you get the chance. Friendly reminder that we will have a busy time ahead of us - first two weeks of December, in particular, so spend some time checking the calendar and make notes if you must. Thank you! LH

Tech'd both Hoop Dreams and transferred Aileen Wuornos to T4 for tech. Everything looks/sounds good. Hoop is smaller than our 1.37 preset, but that's alright. Transferred The Pit for tech in T3. LH

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built and scheduled staff screenings (Blocked on the calendar, email sent out), the school screening for this Friday, and the Aileen Wuornos show. Corrected a playlist or two that had the wrong trailers. Double checked everything else. Moana 2 preshow will get sent over soon as they were teching it at WB today. Built and scheduled the Babies playlist for this upcoming week. - LH

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Tested the Zoom setup in Theater 4 for this Saturday, this is ready to go. -AL

FYI - only 1 private event this week! on Friday - the school screening. I reached out to Chenelle today to confirm that the other two privates for Wicked, one on 11/23 and another on 11/26 had been cancelled, which she did confirm cancellation for. These shows were on the trailer list, but not on the calendar, so I marked them both as Cancelled on the trailer list, in case anyone gets a little confused. - LH

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Ingested a bunch of keys! We're all set for now. Also DCP'd the trailer for Remembering Robin Williams. Added this to the playlists that need it. - LH

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Fire Walk With Me packed up and pickup scheduled for tomorrow. -AL

I rescheduled a pickup for Beyond the Mat since it didn't get picked up today, not even in the afternoon. It's on its way now. LH

Print/video Inspection: 

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes! Updated the sheet with all titles throughout December and added tracking for Ghost in the Shell. - L

Maintenance/cleaning: Vacuumed a lot more surfaces in booth 2, pretty much all of the air ducts, 35mm projectors, and other various surfaces that had gathered dust. -AL

Made 1.66, 1.78, and 2.00 lens files in Theater 2. Had to reset the horizontal lens shift since everything would get shifted over onto the curtain when you switched between channels/ILS files, but that's all fine now. -AL

Spent quite a bit of time adjusting focus for Scope in T1 since it seemed off (did this with loops and until my hand hurt too much). Updated Jack on the adjustments I made. Should be a smooth show, but I'll take another look at P1 tomorrow. We also received our curtains and rods for T2 this afternoon, which we can set up tomorrow. Also! We received Insomnia. I brought this down to T1. - L

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state.
