To do this evening/ was completed: Vlad came in today and put switches in for the spots in T3 and T4. The switch controls the power to the outlet the spots are plugged into, so we'll still need the remote to turn them on when switched on. Please leave them switched off at all times unless we are using them for an event. They of course will not turn on at all if switched off so this will prevent the lights in 3 coming on when we use the remote in 4 going forward. -AL

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built all new A1 playlists for the week of 1/31. Deleted 1/17 playlists - FYI the preshow for Last Showgirl has been deleted as we're getting new preshow from Kat. - Lillian 

Trailer Updates: Ingested the Monkey trailer, Drop Dead Fred trailer & built new trailer packs for 1/31. - Lillian

Special Events/ AV set up: Removed the three ADA seats for a patron in T2. Lil

The DCP for the private is still transcoding in T1 and should be done in a couple hours. Please remember to ingest that with Truck Turner (on the same drive - Almodovar) to the TMS. Thank you! - Lillian  

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Keys for The Handmaiden should be coming in late tonight. - Lillian 

Downloaded/ingested new Forecasts/Dogs Preshow content to the TMS. Also DCP'd and ingested the slide for Devil in a Blue Dress - Lillian 

A Very Curious Girl DCP is downloading via Cyberduck to our share folder. Screenwriter will automatically start ingesting it once it finishes. -AL

Print/video Inspection: Tech'd North by Northwest. Playlist is all set. Also! Just a friendly reminder that I changed the lenses/plates in T4, ran loops and tested California Split yesterday, so we're all set for the weekend. - Lillian

Cleaned up the inside of the turntable case in Trees and re-glued the foam bits to keep the equipment and cables safe. Ordered a new set of needles for these, too. We only have one right now. -AL

Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report 4/6 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Theater 3 issue happened again, Carly radioed me that the second round preshow didn't start. I was able to restart the projector and put the preshow on about 12 minutes before lights down. Trailers/feature played fine after that. I wrote again to DMS and Jerry said he'll have a list of parts to replace on Monday. For the sake of clarity, here is everything I've gathered about this issue: -When it happens, you won't be able to control playback via the TMS, manually fire automation cues, or access the IMS web GUI at all -Schedules for Theater 3 will display as "KDM missing" and the storage health icon on the Overview page will say "Storage degraded," even though the storage is healthy and KDMs have been uploaded and are active. -This issue prevents the server from validating KDMs (even though they are there and valid), so encrypted content will not play with the server in this state.
