NPP Projection Report 2/19 Admin

When we're making formulas for new first run movies, make sure you're entering the runtimes correctly, there have been a few times where it hasn't been right. In the First Run Formulas tab, the top three rows display the total runtime of the movie, the runtime of the movie MINUS credits, and the runtime of credits only, respectively. The only values that should be entered into the actual formula, which will be copied to the cue sheets, are the latter two: the runtime minus credits (in the Start Credits section) and the runtime of the credits only (in the End Credits section), the full runtime of the movie should not be entered anywhere except for that top row, which does not get copied to the cue sheets. The formula for The Monkey had the total runtime entered in the Start Credits section so cue sheet timing was off for all the shows. Not the first time this has happened so there might be some confusion!
Also, the Filmbot runtime was wrong for this. It's 99 minutes, not 95. Please always compare the Filmbot runtime of new movies (always listed at the top of Matthew's weekly schedule email), to the runtime of the actual DCP of the feature we are going to play, and if there is a difference please reply to Matthew's email letting everyone know.

When building playlists, please put your initials in the"Built By" column in the trailer list doc, not "built" or "teched."

Remember for when we open first runs a day early (on Thursday as opposed to Friday), schedule the next week's A1 playlists for features with the same rating as the new first run (R, PG,..) so we're not showing the trailer for a movie that's already showing. For example, for tomorrow (2/20) I scheduled the 2/21 versions of every R-rated A1 playlist so we don't show the Monkey trailer.

Heads up everyone--I am taking the Miyazaki, Almodovar, and NSF-NPP drives to the office in Williamsburg tomorrow for Kat to use for NSF content.

To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist:

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Ran loops for Malcolm X tonight.

Put the PA speakers on stands in T2 for Shouting at the Screen tomorrow. I did not set up the mics so that still needs to be done tomorrow. Brought the HDMI-ethernet extender back to T2 from T3 and tested it. Picture and sound are working. Digital 4 for sound from the laptop, no 1/8" cable required just HDMI.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Texas Chainsaw Massacre DCP is downloading to DCPIII

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Devil in a Blue Dress and Mo'Better Blues picked up.

Print/video Inspection: Looked at Manchurian Candidate today, Desmond and I are going to look for a better file of this one. The rip doesn't look so great on a big screen. Hopefully that will come your way tonight.

Looked at Night is Short, Walk on Girl, and checked the credit offset of Truck Turner. Both playlists updated.

Please remember to tech Texas Chainsaw. Timing is filled in already on the cue sheets (probably from a prior booking), I'm sure it's accurate but we still have to tech this!

Same for Black Box Diaries, we haven't received this yet but timing is entered on the cue sheets.
