NPP Projection Admin 3/11



To do this evening/ was completed: Tech'd NSF Closing Nite shorts with programming. Aspect/volume noted in the tech spreadsheet. Downloaded and ingested new DCPs of the two problem shorts Lillian mentioned yesterday: Wire and Cloth and Wait to Tell Mother. The DCP for Wire and Cloth was already on the SMB drive, so I'm assuming it's the same set of files? There was also an orange icon next to Wire and Cloth on the content page which I believe symbolizes "incomplete" but can look at them tomorrow.

Monty Python DCP is still transcoding in T1. Should finish after the end of tonight. So ingest tomorrow and throw on screen.

Removed a bunch of feature content from T7 to make room for new features.

Downloaded and ingested NSF_THANKYOU_V3 slide. Other two versions removed from LMS.

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report Friday 1/31 CLOSE Chris

Presentation Issues: -I believe Karen thoroughly covered this in an email but there were serious issues with the CP500 for the 6:20 Lil Women; no sound for the first three minutes and it dropped out again the very moment the 500 was taken off manual. The last foil cues continue to fail to fire. The platter worked fine, tho it is not a graceful competence, double-wrapping the film around the brain in the first fourth of the movie before the motor kicks in. -The Rhythm Section SPL had it's LTS DOWN cue set to fire at the beginning of the 10 count preshow portion, rather than the end when the trailers hit. Fixed that.
