To do this evening/ was completed: Gremlins 2 went very smoothly last night.
LMS scheduled for the upcoming week.
Presentation Issues:
Preshow Clips/Playlist:
Trailer Updates:
Special Events/ AV set up: The Superhuman Body event went smoothly. Even though the marquee hadn't been done on the side so Jack and I quickly got that up. They held house for a hot minute, but then it was a smooth transition into the feature and then the Q+A.
Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):
Ordering/Receiving (content): So Jack showed me the subs on [REC] and it was essentially an OCAP situation with subs for the audio effects. What I think happened with the subtitles was that when you're selecting subtitles in Handbrake the tracks start at 0 instead at 1. So Track 1 on the video is Track 0 on Handbrake, etc. It's confusing a bizarre choice on Handbrake's part.
Outgoing/Shipping (content):
Print/video Inspection: Looked at REC with Cristina. The subtitles include action descriptions (distant screaming, chainsaw revving etc) so we put the file through HandBrake again with the right subtitle track. This can get DCP'd tonight
Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Received tracking for Conquest. This should land on Thursday.
Maintenance/cleaning: Changed the HDMI cable for the T7 Christie. Tested and it's working, but will keep checking it to make sure there's no other issue.
Loops ran for tonight. Projectors cleaned.
Gremlins remaining on house reels for now, potential staff screening.
Letters up for Superhuman Body screening on brunch side. Those should come down tonight.
New external hard drive is coming tonight, please format it to Microsoft NTFS when it arrives and name it!
