Special Events/ AV set up: Tech'd the show playlist for Terminator 2 between rounds this evening and added dowser close and open cues 29 and 40 seconds into the feature to hide a title card that says "this 3D version was produced by..." to avoid any confusion about the version being show (it is, in fact, 2D and the restored picture looks fantastic)

Double checked the Pariah pre-show playlist on the LMS and everything looks to be in order for tomorrow evening

Moved the canisters containing Westward the Women to booth 4 as this screening has been moved upstairs from theater 1

Built pre-show playlists for Gremlins 2 and Uptown Girls and saved each to the LMS (these will need volume cues added once the prints can be tech'd for sound)

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Finished ingesting/transferring feature content for They Cloned Tyrone to theater 2 and downloaded and converted a slide for its intro and Q&A from Desmond

Received an email from Deluxe regarding an update for the Novocaine feature content and downloaded and ingested all 5.1 and 7.1 files to the LMS and replaced them with the updated ones (old files end with "...2025022_DLX_SMPTE_VF" whereas the new ones read "...2025035_DLX_SMPTE_VF")

Downloaded and ingested trailer content for Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen for the Uptown Girls pre-show playlist

Marquee updated?: Organized letters for Black Bag, Opus, and Novocaine on the work bench behind 3/7

Additional Notes: Updated the dry erase boards in 4/6 with first run and special event information

Closed captioning device left behind in booth 1 was brought up to the A/V closet to charge

Final rounds in theaters 5 and 7 sold no tickets and both features were stopped ahead of schedule

I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report Friday 1/31 CLOSE Chris

Presentation Issues: -I believe Karen thoroughly covered this in an email but there were serious issues with the CP500 for the 6:20 Lil Women; no sound for the first three minutes and it dropped out again the very moment the 500 was taken off manual. The last foil cues continue to fail to fire. The platter worked fine, tho it is not a graceful competence, double-wrapping the film around the brain in the first fourth of the movie before the motor kicks in. -The Rhythm Section SPL had it's LTS DOWN cue set to fire at the beginning of the 10 count preshow portion, rather than the end when the trailers hit. Fixed that.
