NPP Projection Close 3/21

To do this evening/ was completed: 

Presentation Issues: Final round in theater 2 was paused for roughly ten minutes before MODs radioed up about the delay (was preoccupied inspecting a print but got things running normally again)

Ordering/Receiving (content): Began converting the third version of REC to DCP in booth 1 which should finish sometime tomorrow evening (saved to the NWR drive)

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Inspected all of Conquest and uploaded stills to the shared drive (the print was labeled "Dolby A" despite all the waveforms looking unmistakably like a "Mono" optical soundtrack -- a second set of eyes on this would help confirm but I am certain it is the latter format)

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning:

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Double checked all cues for tomorrow and Sunday and adjusted accordingly + initialed for confirmation (there was some confusion this evening regarding the end credits time for the first round in theater 6 tomorrow morning which led to my noticing none of the OCAP shows this weekend have been advertised as such on the website...Jared will reach out to Matthew about this and hopefully have it corrected by tomorrow morning)

Posters updated?: Removed I'm Still Here and replaced it with Snow White

To do this evening/ was completed: Scheduled 1/3 - 1/9 in LMS. A few manual starts in there. I scheduled those shows just a minute or two after their real start time to get the content transferred, just FYI. Started building the cue sheets as well. Got the first three days done. SE screenings went smoothly. Projection Admin (and Close) 10/19

To do this evening/ was completed: Real quick - It was a great day! For tonight, I've let MOD know that, since I'm more comfortable staying until most of the last round starts (due to some funky server issues we've been having), I'm going to go see a movie in T2 and can silently text with them if they need anything or should anything go wrong (knocking on wood).  Extremely thrilled to say that all three NewFest shows went very well this morning/afternoon. It was definitely a bit of a magic trick with some overlapping intros/Q&As but having my personal ROS helped so much. Thank you to Desmond, NewFest rockstar.  Desmond and I double checked all shows before doors. Gaffed the wired mics and tested everything. Since one guest for the q&a in T2 wasn't comfortable with the chairs, we swapped our directors chairs for the ones in the bar, which still worked super well with the slides and spots.  Had to ride the mic in trees a bit since everyone's got a differen...

NPP Projection Report Friday 1/31 CLOSE Chris

Presentation Issues: -I believe Karen thoroughly covered this in an email but there were serious issues with the CP500 for the 6:20 Lil Women; no sound for the first three minutes and it dropped out again the very moment the 500 was taken off manual. The last foil cues continue to fail to fire. The platter worked fine, tho it is not a graceful competence, double-wrapping the film around the brain in the first fourth of the movie before the motor kicks in. -The Rhythm Section SPL had it's LTS DOWN cue set to fire at the beginning of the 10 count preshow portion, rather than the end when the trailers hit. Fixed that.
